Not even Jeff Bridges could save this unfunny, uninspired movie for me.
A mixture of Men In Black (the second one, not the good first one, or even the so so third one) and Ghostbusters, RIPD fails to come close to either films, and instead just trundles along from one insipid plot point to another, as the characters engage in various unfunny exchanges.
If I want to watch Jeff Bridges do Old West lawman, I’ll watch him do it in True Grit. Not in a film opposite Ryan Reynolds doing, well, Ryan Reynolds. Once again.
Avoid.
